3 Ways to Enhance Your Clairvoyant Self

Do you get a feeling something is about to happen which defies all logic?  Do you ever see things no one else sees and you think you must be dreaming?  Do the hairs on the back of your neck stand up when you walk into a room and you think something is about to happen, but you can’t put your finger on it? If you do, you are becoming more in touch with your clairvoyant self.  It’s taken a long time for me to accept all of this as real, but doing these three steps have actually fine-tuned my senses and can help you with yours.

SILENCE

Quiet things down. In the silence, you can actually hear things louder.  Now, being a mother of 3, I can sympathize with “There is no time for silence.”  I get it. When the children are asleep, before you go to sleep, as things around you are quieting down, listen to what the energy around you is saying. Many yogis talk about meditation as an important part of their practice.  With yoga, there is quiet time to reflect, to calm down, to relax the mind, body and soul.  The energy will ultimately speak loudly to you. But you won’t hear it when too much noise is in the way.  So draw a bath, light a candle and close your eyes. Tune out of this world and tune into the “other” world.  A new meaning for “Calgon, take me away!”

BREATHE

I know when I used to do any kind of meditation, and I was concentrating too hard, I’d forget one important factor, to breathe.  It might sound obvious, but breathing is a very important part of connecting the soul to outside forces and it also clears the way for Qi (circulating life force – Chinese Philosophy) to flow openly and fluidly in the body.  Your breath work with allow this tingling and buzzing to happen just under the surface of your skin. Your body is made up of molecules and has “electricity” pulsing through it. Why do you think you get shocked from static electricity periodically?  Concentrating on breathing into your body, will help the Qi and will ultimately open you up to a world you only thought existed in your head. “Let it flow, let yourself go, Slow and Low, that is the tempo.” Did I really just make a #BeastieBoys reference? Yes. Yes, I did!

COMFORT

When you are trying to relax, you need to be in breathable clothes.  Having anything restricting your diaphragm and around your body will not allow for Qi to flow openly and will only cause frustration, as you try to listen to the life forces around you, but are struggling with the tightness of your pants. #FreeFlow #nospandexduringmeditation

Build yourself up to the amount of time you meditate. Start with 2 minutes, then 5, then 10, then 30 minutes a day. Somedays will be better than others. And you will feel like doing it one day, then not on another. It is all ok. Eventually the universe starts opening up and you will see things clearer as you understand your own signs clearer.  In the quiet, comfort, breathable place that is your center.
